Series CFSO, CFSOS and CFSOA self-clinching standoffs are designed for sheet metal applications, with through-threaded types suitable for panels 0.040 in. (1.0 mm) and thicker. Installation uses standard pneumatic, hydraulic, or mechanical presses, with no reaming or deburring required. The standoff is inserted into the hole and seated using sufficient squeezing force to embed the head flush. Internal threads conform to ANSI B1.1 (2B) and ANSI/ASME B1.13M (6H). CFSO suits materials up to HRB 80, CFSOS up to HRB 70, with CFSOA for softer materials.
